Nothing. Nowt. Nada. Shite.

Incase you were one of those passive types who are too chill, or a titan of industry too busy to wonder why you haven’t been getting any free content from me for months.

Unfortunately there is no FREE version of the Column Podcast Colcast thing just now. I made the decision some time ago to stop giving away content for free. People can listen to my radio shows in Canada and read my Guardian column in the UK without spending a penny so there is lots of DD content out there without shelling out. This is a labour of love. And love costs.

(I am sure that was a Def Leppard song at song point.)

If you want to support my work here then that is fantastic. Otherwise there is a ton of free content out there from other people, some of which is even good.

Also the Column Podcast thing is not about videogames. I still mention them when relevant, but with the radio shows in Canada and general life/health challenges I don’t have time to play a lot of games now, so that time is spent playing them for Guardian column purposes.

The Column Podcast now is a lot of fun. It is a stream of consciousness thing. I pick a theme (most of the time that theme is a location) and I fire up the mic and let rip where my surreal comedic rabbit-hole-jumping-down mind takes me.

So far those episodes have had themes ranging from beach to blindness, shopping malls to shit parks, football to cancer.

Why not spend what I think is just 4 quid (figures at my end are in Canadian dollars AKA maple leaves) to try it for a month?
